Are we about to receive more of them but they just have not announced it yet? I can't think of any logical reason why it would be so. If it makes our ERJ brethren feel better they have capped how many of us CRJers can transition over to the other side. Ugh

Don't y'all start receiving 5-6 new 175's a month soon? Me thinks they can't train people that fast so they have to get ahead of the delivery schedule don't ya think?

If anything, they should be at the bottom of in-class seniority for having cost the company all that extra money.

Two dudes interview same day, one with 121 experience, an ATP, and a type in the same plane the company flies; the other is a Commercial/CFI with no 121 experience, yet he will end up being senior to the first guy simply because he was LESS qualified? It's wrong.

The seniority hit cost me when it came time to bid for sim, bid for domicile, and eventually vacation, upgrade, etc. It's just wrong.

Agree or not, it really doesn't matter what you think. SGU makes the rules and policies. Don't like the rules and/or policies, you have 2 choices, 1-establish a CBA to define how these scenarios are handled or 2-quit. It's really that simple. Don't like unions, here is your sampling as to what it's like. Now imagine you are at a legacy for the next 35 years, you really want to bet "the"company "will do the right thing"?

Guys/Girls,

It was mentioned during my interview that SEA and PDX bases for the ERJ was expanding. Is this due to the new aircraft arriving in Alaska Airlines colors?

What's the chances of a new hire on the ERJ getting a SEA or PDX base?

News flash,
Everything is subject to change. That 2 year upgrade can go to 5 in a heartbeat, or drop just as fast, that airframe could be sent to the desert. Betting on what happened 2 months ago is the same as buying last months Powerball numbers and thinking that they are anything other than numbers. If any domicile is staffed the way the company wants it, the only way in is by waiting your turn. Once a domicile is staffed, the only thing you will have a shot at is junior reserve, and that particular brand of joy.

Preaching to the choir, bruh. I was ALPA at my last place and I'd sign a union drive card right now. Ain't nobody looking out for our best interests but us.

7/15, roughly. Not possible to determine with certainty.

Was it by chance 7/16 for junior FO (EJET) lineholder in SEA?

The Sky west profile on this site states that rooms are double occupancy during training. So just to clarify... you are required to share a hotel room with another guy in your class?

Anyone know if the new E75-EWT's are replacing the CRJs in Seattle?

Yes, welcome to a first class career ...

You can also pay for single occupancy if you like.

Unlikely that all CRJs will go away. There are plenty of destinations that support CRJ flying for the foreseeable future. However, I would expect any CRJ growth.
