There is a ton of variables, but you should plan on $500-$1000 and look into roommates otherwise you'll be spending more than that.

Wow congrats to the colleagues in my new hire class getting the upgrade. I remember when I showed up for the interview a little over 2 years ago and everyone said to me "don't go to Skywest!!!!! 7 year upgrade!!!!!!!"

How times change!

No .. all it means is that I would need to pay extra for single occupancy. And it does matter for those who would like some privacy in their leisure time.

"Leisure time" haha just wait for your roommate to go to the store buddy! Lol

Thinking the same thing lol.

I didn't find the roommmate thing to be that bad, especially once I was in sim because I never saw him.

I didn't think it was bad at all either. Our hotel room had a separate bedroom so we really only shared the kitchen and bathroom. It was actually nice for studying.
If your class is anything like my class was you'll likely be meeting up as a group a lot to study and just hang out so between that and class I didn't actually spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

I dont know the guy but if he needs that much "leisure time" he might want to find a career that keeps him alone more haha Imagine if he had to take the walk of shame in the CRJ just a for a little "me" time lol

We literally had 2 queens next to each other and it wasn't bad. You end up studying together with most of the class anyway. If the guy is a douche, then you tell training and they will set you up with your own room, at least thats what we were told.

The kind of insinuations you are making are at best immature and quite inappropriate for a professional, let alone a pilot. I'm coming from a part 121 ops background and have been there, done that with dual occupancy accommodation for sim training in a previous airline. Sometimes it works out well, sometimes it doesn't. I'm just seeking the best options for myself. I asked a simple clarification of the type of accommodation that is offered, and get a reply with attitude.

May I suggest you grow up; your innuendos reminds me of the type that goes on in high school. Surely people here are well beyond that.

To others who have replied with helpful information, thank you. It has helped me to decide whether to go with dual or single occupancy.

Congrats you made it through other 121 programs. Want a high five? Maybe a hug? I don't want to hurt your special snowflake feelings with my innuendo. Its a split room that the company pays for. Suck it up and just deal with it. Not that hard to do for a few weeks. Oh wait... was that more innuendo? Im sorry!

It was a joke..... I bet you are a pleasure to fly with.....

It wasn't attitude, it was a light hearted response, and if you were to pay attention you'd notice that your issue was answered.

You came off mildly toolish in your first post and just really doubled down on it in the second one. I think Mesa has a quicker upgrade.
