Its all CRJ, so the ERJ is out of Luck

They haven't really announced any specifics other than what's been posted here already. It doesn't mean anything for a 175 FO other than they are still upgrading alot of FO's.

I interview in a couple of weeks at SkyWest. I was hired at envoy last week. I'm trying to gather as much information as possible in order to make a good decision. I will need ORD. So my correct in my understanding that 30 FO's at Skywest are going to be transitioning to the CRJ Capt in ORD?

My theory is we're slowly taking Envoy's CRJ flying.

So does this mean that Envoy might be getting smaller at ORD?

Who knows. It's all speculation and only the higher ups know the answer. My best guess is that as AA transfers E145s to Piedmont and CRJs to PSA, (both of which are mostly east coast based) and brings on E175s online to Envoy, there may be a need for some CRJ flying in Chicago which could be done by SkyWest. Time will tell though.

Yeah, don't ask me. It's just a guess. I have no facts to back that theory up really.

That's a LOT of upgrades for both airframes. CRJ is around 2 years right now and ERJ is about 4. With the amount of people the Legacys needs, it should hang out around there for a few years....hopefully.....

I heard a lot of it was replacing RAH flying. But exactly... all speculation.
