Anyone have the gouge for 2017?

Flyguy4723 12-22-2016 08:11 AM

Why on earth would you work at Skywest and make 30k your first 2 years when you can make 60k at endeavor or envoy???

This one is perfect, $99 and lifetime replacement. Fits in all of the aircraft we fly at SkyWest...even the 200.

Kirkland Signature Upright 21.5" Black Carry-on

Assuming this bag only fits sideways in a CRJ overhead? My old Costco roller "carry-on" bag is too big, and as a newhire waiting for IOE, I've been wondering which bag I should ask Santa for. Seems that the Costco dimensions are for the internal specs, not the external - so when you actually put clothes in the bag, the dimensions are wrong for the overhead.

Would love to stay with Costco - price, durability and warranty are unmatchable.

Lots of reasons. If you live in a SkyWest base, if youhave talked to friends at all the airlines and there experiences, you want a turkey certificate every year, honesty now that were out of the horrid 90's/early 2000's.. It comes down to were do you want to live/commute too. A extra 20k would not make me commute to JFK from the west coast..

You'll make $45k more or less first year hinging upon how hard you work in the junior bases, and second and third year I'm guessing is $50k or more.... I don't know I'm about to find out.

And let's cut the bull...Envoy is a sh*ty airline that treats it's employees like cattle. Keep your flow, the whole thing is smoke and mirrors to keep you chained to a regional while everyone else without a flow will be motivated to improve their odds for a legacy by making themselves better, more well rounded candidates....

I disagree... I use my American benefits more then the other two. United is WAY overbooked on every flight and all Delta stuff goes through ATL.

BTW, you only get AA benefits after 6 months and you have to pay $75 for you and $50 for each family member.

When you see those taxes come out of those bonuses it isn't as glorious as it may seem. You can keep those 12 hour 4 days. A JFK commute is horrible and even if you do make 60k and move, how far will that go in NYC.

To avoid working with toolbags like you maybe?

I'm very happy here at Skywest. Sure, I could make more money somewhere else I would be commuting for it. Even though movement has come to a halt in the base where I live I don't commute which to me is invaluable.
