I doubt that's the case. We have upgrades who's classes are getting pushed out because they are worried about staffing the right seat.

Couldn't that also be because the deliveries of ERJ's are coming to an end this summer (if they don't decide to get another 100 Ejets)?

I haven't heard there is a shortage of Ejet FO's. If that was the case, why a longer wait on reserve? Are you saying the longer FO reserve is because of a Ejet captain slowdown?

The longer reserve time is because FOs were stockpiled so they would be ready for the delivieries, so guys in ORD can say they've been reserve a year etc but now that the planes are almost done delivering it should drop as staffing levels normalize. Think there's 10 deliveries or so between now and june

A recent 121 failure would almost certainly need to go build some more time and maybe do 135 before getting hired at SKW. I suppose anything's possible these days, but they have not made a habit of scooping up rejects from other regionals.

That said, the training program is more thorough and less arbitrary than some other places, so some folks will do better here with the structure than at other places. At some places it can come down to luck...if your sim partner sucks, you're hosed.

What is the wait like for IOE on the CRJ?

At the schoolhouse right now, our instructor said there were 5 failures alone last week. Mostly for bone-headed mistakes is what it sounds like, not for the FAA is trying to find nit-picky things to fail people on (although they have been observing more and more LOEs).

Heard 4 crews pinked the LOE within the last few days. This is the first AQP initial group.
