That's because they already have theirs. They mostly live in high QOL, low COL towns and pull down $130K+ without even trying (to say nothing of the training bubbas).

Most are not willing to rock the boat hard to try to push their pay into the mainline realm. Particularly since they remember how that worked out for COMAIR.

Actually hard to blame them.

The top 1000 pilots here have 12 years minimum. What do you consider junior? The majority of the yes-voters I talked to were guys with 10+ years.

Skywest offers a 401k to all employees that is fairly good relative to other companies for all employees.
Yes our 401k sucks compared to what mainline pilots earn.
What does xjt earn?

New hire here. Can anyone provide any insight on how difficult a commute from SEA to SLC would be! Thanks in advance
