The last CKA I flew with said he heard we were gonna take PenAir's Saabs to fly some EAS routes. Ummmmm.....

Sapa is working on a soft landing 2.0 that basically lets anyone keep past longevity from previous carriers.

What days are pay days? I cannot figure it out because my last 3 have been totally random. Some Monday, some Wednesday...looks like this next one will go through tomorrow or Wednesday again.

7th and 22nd. Although if those days fall on a weekend or holiday (which happens at least 30% of the time), they will usually pay you early on the last business day before.

But I think there's also a PPM provision to pay you one day late if the scheduled pay date falls on the last day of a weekend/holiday. I don't recall if they ever actually do that though...some state laws may not allow it. Also they payroll folks don't want work on the holiday (especially the last day), so they finish processing the pay before they go home for the weekend/holiday.

I think if payday falls on a Saturday, they pay you on Friday. If it falls on Sunday, you get paid Monday.
