It's not $300K in bonuses, it's possibly $300K in combined salary and bonuses if you get a very fast upgrade. Nice money but nowhere near enough to get stuck there if you're from say SOCAL and don't want to live in the east.

A street captain at Skywest couldn't make that in 3 years... Don't try to underplay how massive this is

Geez, not sure what their CA pay is. But, there's a good chance a new hire FO is making more than the junior CA they are sitting next to.

I saw the flyer... lots of "assumptions"... sucker born every day... but if you live in one of there bases, and don't mind flying a CRJ200 with a 5 year deal with UA then go for it... my guess based off of math, most of there 200's are timing out in about 5 years... so then what?? Oh wait. Then you fall for the next flyer you see that claims 300k pay..

"Sucker born every day" goes for anyone that drinks the koolaid and joins Skywest also. But that sucker will be less compensated. This place is not only behind when it comes to pay. This is not the place it used to be.

Yes Compass is closing MSP.

We're not taking anything.

Good. Delta should be taking it and hiring regional pilots.

Thats so last months news!! (Except the taking over the flying with 175's) but the RSR relorts more 700/900 flying in the MSP/DTW system as the Delta 175's come online and replace the 900's out west...
