That would suck. I'm just not sure how much bigger DTW could get. We already have 290 FO'S in the base. What's next 400?! How are we losing west coast Delta flying?

And they aren't in Detroit? Hopefully just a rumor. Would be a shame to shrink SLC.

My brain just can't register how we are moving more flying East with DTW. After hearing we are shrinking ORD by 10 200s, it just doesn't make sense that we are giving all those and 7/900s from Delta to Detroit.

Someone has to cover the 2 class flying in DTW of ASA/EDV that's being shifted to NYC to allow the EDV 200s to go to ATL to cover the ASA 200s being parked

Yeah I get it but DTW already is our biggest FO base. Soon will probably be on the captain side. How much larger can we make it now?

With these four new bases opening up soon (cough cough ) that new pay contract better hurry up.

Even Mesa is bumping pay.

Well considering DTW is the 2nd biggest Delta hub, you draw your own conclusions

Doesn't Acey still have a base there?

DFW seems out of the blue.

Unless. Don't say it. American 175s. I said it.
DFW is out of the blue but if you had told me ORD would be a huge AA base, I would have thought you were crazy.

We picked up just 2 cities from DFW for June, PIB/MEI and TYS on the -700. PIB/MEI is an EAS contract that we're taking over from Envoy. I'm not sure why we're doing TYS because we have a midnight departure some days to get in at 3 AM?? And of course we've been doing the ASE flight for some time as well.

Expressjet is closing their DFW base (again). I think they are closing it entirely for the CRJ and the 145 in which they have a decent amount of AA flying there. Does anyone know for sure?

In September, 12 CRJ-200's are coming off contract in ORD for AA. Apparently they are being repurposed though. I'm not sure if that means to a new partner or to stay in AA colors and move bases.

All the above make me go hmm about DFW. I don't think it'll open any time soon if it does, but I wouldn't be surprised if we picked up a few more cities for AA out of DFW and just have us flow through it for a while.
