Are you "Alaska dedicated" base and equipment??? AKA E175 PDX/SEA?

Basicly.. Dedicated employees have priority on SKYW operated flights. Non-dedicated are behind AS employees.

We all ways have jumpseat priority... Unless there is a line check going on as you mentioned above...

^ have you ever tried to taxi a light CRJ700 first flight of the day on 2 engines.....

It originally came from a WWI era Army Signal Corp guide for the Curtis Jenny. Still practical for ligth GA airplanes, but not so much for big planes. I think Southwests SOP simply states that taxi speed shall be less than V1.

Did the AS pilot use a "confirmed" pass??
Unfortunately they are handing them out like candy now.. just like UA "Vacation" passes. And commuters are using them not for vacation....

And on DL it's SDSB. Same Day Stand By-Confirmed, not unusual to see at least one per flight, they trump all standby's.
