There are no regs that say you can't taxi fast. As long as you can prove you were safe then good luck to the inspector going after that.
Some people need to research where that brisk walk thing even come from. It has zero application for today's aviation, but who would expect the FAA to do their job and update a regulation.

Well, the ASA 700s you're replacing are mostly ATL and LGA, so read between the lines as much as you want. I'd bet LGA, they'll fit in nicely with the 170s that operate there in terms of schedule flexibility
