So there are some reserve lines in MSP again this month. Im kinda tempted to try long call reserve. How is long call reserve in MSP in the past? work well for commuters? I could also see it being just the bottom of the barrel **** trips too.

LCR reserve is crap, You get all the crap trips assigned first. You end up flying a lot of locals.

Plus Standups. Not to mention, they'll convert you to SC whenever they feel like it (up to 7 max per month I believe).

Don't do it. They'll call you at midnight on your first RAP and convert you to Short Call Reserve. If you commute, you'll get no sleep as you'll have to be on the first couple flights of the day to get to base to sit SC by noon. LCR is also call first. If you're on a four day block, and there's a late day local to DLH on the last day, it's assigned to you. You'll rarely get that nice 4 day someone calls in for. That'll go to a SC guy. The other days they can't switch you to SC, they'll use you anyway. So unless you live in a city with lots of flights between or within driving distance, I wouldn't try it. I tried LCR between DFW and IAH, and it was horrid. And that was a fairly easy and short commute!

I have an interview scheduled for May 13 DEN. If anyone else is going to be there, PM me and we can chat prior/work through some study items.

Also, can anyone give me an idea on how long it will take to get back to PHX or alternatively, TUS or PSP in the CRJ?

Just remember to breathe, you will do just fine, whatever you do don't show up in board shorts and drunk.

And give them some time to ask some questions before telling them which class you want and what airplane.

Lots of new American flying in ORD for May, including a decent amount of -700 stuff. Pretty interesting, I don't remember seeing any announcement or communication about this. Thought all the AA -700s were going to LAX.
