just curious but where are you coming in from instructing or other ?

Aviation-related, (mostly) non-flying job for the last 5 years, but approx. 2500TT, ATP, CE500 Type

Still hoping someone can give me an idea on how long it might take to get back to PHX or TUS. Any help is greatly appreciated!

6 months to a year. TUS is a really small base with 26 pilots. A friend of mine got TUS after 9 months, but at the same time another guy with 6 months on property got it as well. PHX is very senior but guys in my class were able to get PHX after 9 months.

Well training is about two months, then I'd guess 6 months on the line, so 8 months to a year to get back to PHX. Most junior guy in PHX was hired 08/15.

TUS is about the same most junior hired 09/15.

Was cancelled for the 4/28 ERJ class. Looking at the 4/25 CRJ now. Where do you guys stay for training? Thanks

A year from now you'll look back and thank your lucky stars you got the Climb Restricted Jet. Trust me.

New hires stay at the Candlewood SLC Airport. A nice place after the refurb. Light rail is right outside the front door, it's just a 15 min ride downtown.

Get on the pizza list early and often.

You will definitely not regret this. Make sure they only give you a one year seat-lock since you didn't get your first choice of aircraft.

The 4/25 CRJ class incentives include no seat lock and single occupancy rooms.
