Reflow = getting ready for your amazing YYJ overnight but they “Reflow” you to PDX for flight instead.. (but they do have free taco Tuesday at the hotel)

I dont think so..?? I’ve only been reflowed 2 in the last 5 or so years also. I remember both worked out in my favor (for pay and getting done earlier)

Midwest bases get reflowed all the time. Short staffing/no reserves will do that.

Yeah REFLUX is the taste you get in your mouth when you find out you've been REFLOWED.

Was reflowed numerous times in the last couple years. Never in my favor, except a couple times when the reflow was obviously stupid and resulted in an inevitable time out.

No, I'm not going to bust my hump to bend the regs so I can get to a ten-hour reflow overnight, when I can time out, stay where I'm at and get a 17 hour overnight.

Default SEA RSV in November ERJ

How’s RSV flying for ERJ out of Seattle for November? Additionally, is it looked down upon by pilot group to pick up open time as RSV FO? I’ve done two turns for the month of October and I’d really like to get back in the airplane.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Unlike union carriers, I've never heard of any pressure not to pick up open time, even during contract "negotiations".

But it would be more helpful to other pilots if you pick up pilot-posted trips vice company open time. The company trips may be at premium pay, but sometimes pilots will offer a cash incentive to pick up trips they really want to drop.
