Exactly.. im fine letting someone retired fly the Roswell paint repos. Reserve pilots should NEVER have to drive a rental from ABQ to ROW ever!!! (Done that twice)

Our planes, our jobs. Company can't benefit from non seniority list labor AND short staff the airline all at once....

Quick question for you OO guys. My neighbors son was cold called by skywest apparently a few weeks ago and was told y'all are opening a full Atlanta base. Is this true?

T'is true as far as I know...6 captains and first officers based there initially and I see vacancies for 6 more captains in December. No idea how big they are planning on making it though.

The Conference call noted we took on 33 200’s. Seems still half of them are i. CKB/TUS getting conformance checks. So i would say maybe 60 crews?? What ever ASA had as far as lines in ATL i bet...

This is why I’m on the fence. We complained loudly doing 91 flights. Company wants to hire part 91 pilots....and we complain.
I’m against it.

General info on ATL.
ATL is CRJ reserve only in November
And a fully normal base in December.

175 base by October 2018
