Maybe.

Anecdotally, I've still been flying with a lot of folks that can upgrade somewhere else recently.

BWI and MCO trend AM and east coast. There is just about everything in both bases, though, with the exception of Intl flying which MCO doesn’t really do for whatever reason.

The AM scourge is (yet another) recent QOL and pay hit for MCO.

Thankfully, we've been spared the INT stuff, so I don't have to add those to my stuff to avoid like the plague every month list, but I am sure it's coming too.

Just curious, why the dislike of international stuff?

Mainly because, like AMs, there's no compelling reason to do them when I don't have to (and thankfully, I don't have to do either).

INT boils down to more work, more hassle and more exposure for, maybe, a tiny bit more pay.

I've BTDT in previous lives. You can have it.

The kids meals are icing on the cake.

I’d do international stuff from time to time if they included 30 hour overnights at oceanfront resorts.

But instead it’s a 55 minute turn, back to Houston for an hour turn plus a run through customs. Lot of wasted time for no reward.

Yup... I wouldn't even do them for 30 hours in oceanfront resorts.

I do quite a bit of it. Some of it is easy/worth it and some of it blows. The CUN, SJO, and SJU overnights are really the only good ones that the masses can fly in HOU.
Turns are a productivity killer, plain and simple. SWA has figured out how to do it on the cheap and optimize pax loads. Good on them. I look forward to the airline expanding in that direction, but for now, I mostly avoid it.
