come on guys dont sell yourself short already.

I don’t see why we can’t have the best rate and the best opportunity to more. I feel like the longer we see green bars on the schedule and struggle to make more like we used to guys who “run to ta1” won’t be as high as some think.

LOL.....

We can't have the best rates because 85% of your co workers don't want them, and that's been proven time and again over the last quarter century.

Default Rates of Pay

I’m confident that the 2000 we have added since the last contract will be a collective benefit to your concerns. We have been more educated than ever before with SWAPA sending out a of great information.

Do we need better rates? Yes, but we don’t need the highest rates to make most happy. We need to fix lots of other things like disability/health insurance, chopped up trips and reserve Manning. Technology and language to reduce JA’s and unscheduled overnights along with a host over other things that aren’t pay rate related. My point is if we sign our Ta before the others and have “caught up” or pass, but then they sign and go +5% over us will people be angry here? Yes, but if we get other wins I don’t see a problem.

And that is exactly why Show me an airline more successful than SW since its inception. Why shouldn't we be highest paid? Look at at least 3 other work groups here that are. And some by a huge margin.

Never fear, most of your fellow pilots here don't want to fix non pay related, sub industry standard things either.

I agree all the other stuff is more important than top paid. But I’m constantly told we are the best 737 pilots in the world. Then pay us like we are! Don’t forget to include the snap up clause. Delta, United or American pay +1!

Sometimes the best aren’t paid the most. There needs to be Tom Brady’s in the world.
