So the way it goes during interviews, is if everybody is unanimous with thumbs-up to include the virtual interview material, the reference check done by the hiring department between virtual and in-person, and the logbook review & LOI in person, then the CJO goes through and a class date notification without having to go to the chief pilots. If there is anything along the way that breaks the unanimous thumbs-up, it gets moved along to the chiefs which used to meet every couple weeks. I think that got pushed up to weekly now. This, according to a member of the hiring team whose brain I picked extensively a couple weeks ago. For those waiting to hear back, be patient and positive. I know it's hard to hear that, but at least it's not the 2+ weeks wait that everybody was subject to when I interviewed.

Cool. Who knows what they're doing, then. I'm not surprised it's completely different than what I was told. Hopefully everyone hears back soon.

Maybe you just came across to them as someone who might rush to conclusions about things?

[QUOTE=Smooth at FL450;3462565]which answer did you select? The first 2 are very clearly the answers to choose from if you want to work here.
Wow, my browser collapsed each answer and I didn't see that option in full, and now I'm locked out of this application cycle. This truly is the hardest time it's ever been to be in aviation!!! Thanks for your help though.

try this: [email protected]. See if you can get it changed. You’re not the only person to have this issue.
