Im not sure that I know anyone right now that has only 1 offer from a major/legacy airline unless that is all that they applied to. Most people are getting 3-4 calls within a few weeks of each other.

No need to just take the first offer anymore.

I don’t think anyone expected an even MORE transmissible strain of this bug that would result in exponential increases in sick calls. Never would’ve guessed the company would be offering pay incentives in January!

If one had offers at jetblue/spirit/southwest and wanted to be florida base for career, what would be the best option?

Here at LUV... you can probably hold MCO within 3-6 months after training if hiring continues at a decent pace. If it slows down. Its a forever wait. Ask me how I know.

If you want to upgrade into MCO, you're looking at probably 13-15 years and perpetual weekend reserve or weekend trips for a while as every senior pilot to you bids into MCO for the final 5 years of their career.

Training this week. Leadership said a new strain coming soon. It’s currently in France

1300 new hires and 700 upgrades.

Maybe this new one will be the one where we can all lockdown harder and triple mask. Just two more weeks people

The 'new strand' will become the common cold. But only if you're vaccinated.

And by vaccinated you mean 2 initial shots, then 2 boosters, every year until you’re dead.

So much unnecessary drama. In all likelihood it will just be added to the flu vaccine which many of us get annually anyway.
