Congrats on the move up to both of you! That's at least 60 spots!

Does HR send out an official job offer after the background check clears? Or just the original verbal CJO from the CP?

You’ll get a call from a CP. After you’ll get a call or email asking you to pick a class date.

They send out a formal CJO for you to sign, followed by class date options. Happens in parallel with background check, pee test, PRIA, etc. Was a pretty easy and painless process.

Written CJO shortly after the verbal from a chief. I was also given an official job offer after they moved my class date up. I assume all the background check stuff was done at that point also. I had to electronically sign it.

Seems like going to career fairs can help push an application along. Myself and a friend both received interviews last week after NGPA. Southwest will be at women in aviation next month.

Stats for me, NGPA application window was my 6th time applying.
No TPIC, 2700TT

I recieved a virtual invite the next business day after meeting them at NGPA. My frst time applying was there at the expo.

Yesterday was my virtual, seems like by the end of today I'll know if I I move forward to in-person. They specifically mentioned I met with them at the NGPA expo during my virtual interview.

Bros getting in-persons scheduled this week are getting the week of Mar 7th offered.

Default SWA hiring questions

How long has it been taking to see a status change (from received submission to anything else) in the SWA Careers dashboard?

How competitive are these numbers?

Total (without sim) 4036.7
PIC (AC CDR) 1712.1
Total FW 2571.6
Total RW 1306.1
Multi-Turbine/Jet 2691.6
(military and part 135 experience)

I think you’ll get a wide variety of answers to that question. Some only apply to one window and get the call a week later, while others have applied for years without getting the nod. I’m certainly no expert but I’d think you’re competitive with the numbers and experience you list above, especially in this hiring environment. Good luck!
