I remember some guys would get angry if you tried to explain why a no vote on TA1 was in order. They'd rationalize their yes vote with statements like, "We won't get a better offer," or "I'm perfectly happy here."
Those guys were the ones telling me we'd never get a B-fund and I should quit so that it tells management there's an issue. I always replied, "We won't get a B-fund with that attitude. You want to send a message....you quit first"

Yup, first year will always leave for other grass, seeing 5-10 year people leave is a much stronger signal something is wrong. Voting no is an even better hint.....

I won’t vote no on a TA just to vote no. If it has all the things I want and I feel there’s no more juice left to squeeze…I have no problem voting yes.

Very succinctly sums up the problem we've had with EVERY negotiation ever.👍

38 percent of this pilot group agree with you and will vote yes for anything.

That's not a good attitude. Considering management is only looking for 51%, there is ALWAYS more juice to squeeze.

When Casey and Hank are sitting across from you at a road show and says, “this is as good as it gets…”…I trust their opinion vs some line swine who doesn’t have the data, etc.

I wasn’t here for TA1, but it was a turd and I’m glad it was voted down. Had it passed…I’d prob be at UAL now.

No way. A good number just took early retirement and 1220 just got shown they company's true colors 1 year ago. This "38% will vote yes" line is stale.
