My problem is not being able to mentally let go of the “could’ve been” interim changes to my reroutes. I get all excited and then ultimately let down even if I make more money than I originally would’ve. It’s a character flaw.
Like when I get pulled off my trip and they’ll have some monster triple deadhead paying 12 TFP to catch me back up. Then by the time I finish my first leg they’ll have fixed the glitch with like a single deadhead and no more move up so I only end up with like 3 extra TFP.
Either that or when I get rerouted to JA—sorry, an unscheduled overnight—with a single deadhead back the next day. Then wake up to find 3 legs on my board that still only pay 6.5. Womp womp.

50% of any excess pay funds new 5.56,9mm or 308.
I learned the hard way not to hit up ammoseek until the end a busted trip. I was quite upset when the big re-route didn’t materialize

letting all the incompetence go. Just care about payday 5th and 20th. Make sure you learn how our pay works. It is very common practice for the company to pay the plumbers. AKA pilots wrong ( Errors always seem to favor the company) SWAPA Catches over $3 million a year in pay errors , and they are not checking The majority of the pilots pay.
I can guarantee you that while you’re on reserve, The extra pay you will get because of the move up will be grossly reduced when the company does their Jethro math.

EVERY month this year I've been on reserve (9/11 so far) I have had mistakes that I've had to go to contract admin to have the company fix. At least 2 of those times contract admin was wrong and I had to push further to get the correction.
