Don't really see anything that's going to fuel regret for leaving in the AIP/TA snapshot and newest SWAPA contract comparison guide. $10/hr more on 737 rates is decent, but probably still undershoots what they should be. The medical remibursment amount is healthy and might lead the industry, but increased NEC, MBCBP, paid parking, pay protection for fatigue calls etc. all seem to be brought up to industry standards. Nothing really earth shattering there.

That was exactly my point. Maybe my sarcasm didn't come through.
Scabs WON'T be a factor in this environment. There might be a few willing to live the rest of their lives on the scab list and all that goes along with it to work for a few hours at SWA as a scab, but there won't be enough to sustain the airline. Therefore, the company is mostly defenseless in this pilot market.

The mediator controls MEDIATED sessions. There is NOTHING that prohibits Casey and Jody from getting together with Bobby J and AW over some hot wings and quesadillas at the DoubleTree and hammering out a deal, at ANY time.

if someone wants to leave to fly WB, so be it. Its a free labor market. Pilots come to SW knowing there isnt widebody to begin with. SWA isnt going to offer rates GROSSLY above market avg just so some "might stay". Can we put this talking point to bed please?

Agreed. I don’t see anything “shocking” or “insane money” or “regret for those that left”. Just moving up to average. However, that definitely makes this a very different airline to work for now. It took “once in a lifetime leverage” to get to this average. To be fair, serious “gains” were required to get to where we’re at now.
