Were that the case, then I’d have a lot of unused days. Sr guys hoping to stay home are picking up all the rsv blocks in DOT. Then, because they’re at the top of the RCO, they get a trip and call in sick for it. Add a couple snowstorms or LAX rain events and you end up working every day.

Last Feb as a Sr. FO on rsv….I didn’t work at all.

Went 2 blocks unused this month. One huge LCO... they changed my entire 3-day trip, but it's not yet audited... and probably won't be for a while.

I'm ok with them taking some time to audit right now.

Of course, I'm hoping, almost certainly foolishly, that they're taking the time to learn the new rules so that they can ensure better accuracy when they're contractually obligated to finish audits more quickly.

Apparently, it'll take some time for them to get it done, it's a manual process now. They're also offering a lot of OT for people to process these audits.

Precisely what I’m seeing. Some of the typical high rollers bidding on crap trips at straight time. I refuse to go to work for less than 8 TFP/day.

That’s the funniest chit I’ve heard in quite a while!

Yep. One of the Houston superstars from near the top of the "list" went on FB complaining that he bid SNOT-S and didn't know what the S stood for. Another PHX CA whose name translates to penis is shotgunning bids all over the system even though he lives in base. As February starts waning, the desperation will get pretty intense. Gotta make that alimony payment!

Well, admittedly I really need to snag something for the month still (not for alimony), but I’m not gonna drag my a$$ to work for a garbage trip.

This month one of the biggest known wh0res in my domicile was bidding straight on utter garbage. They were trips that paid okay at premium but at straight most of us wouldn’t bother showering and packing a bag for. Of course, this guy’s a board-blocker.

LCO worked well for me the other day. Had a 1 day I picked up in OT for 6.9 (I'm a 1st year guy so looking for 2nd year pay when it makes sense).

Scheduling called me on my way to the airport and moved me up 10 minutes. My original pairing was a deadhead and then 3 operating legs. They revised me to a deadhead to a different place with one operating leg and a deadhead back. I got home far earlier. First leg paid 2x and the other 2 paid 1.5x so it came out to 12tfp @ 2nd year pay. Not bad at all for a 1 day trip.

Thank you SWAPA for your help in explaining the new work rules and being very accomodating when I call to ask questions. Also thank you to those of you who give feedback on your experiences with the contract. It all helps!
