sure an FO can do it if the comparable Cpt is me but a hustling cot can't be beat.

This guy is doing life right! Doesn’t even waste energy on making sentences look right! 😂 Focusing on things that actually matter is pretty awesome!

No way I’d commute to rsv. I’m also very jr in a base that’s shrunk like 20% in the last year. I live in base so still driving to work and held my base for UPG. I get displaced and there shouldn’t be a 6 mo seat lock to downgrade if I choose that. I’d be around 70% in LAS/LAX so should be solid upper blanks or holding a line. Hopefully with AUS the displacement trend stops and hiring starts people getting back where they were.

Commuting to reserve is a non starter, even for me. That's such a huge QOL hit that it makes it not worth it. Even with the new reserve tools, having a 15-16 day schedule that you can't move and have to commute in for RAP start and potentially sit in a hotel for unused days vs a senior FO schedule with all commutable trips and bells and whistles available to you is a large hill to overcome. I did it for a few months. It got old quick. Thankfully holding a line now, but I really feel for anyone displaced and commuting to reserve.
