Hey WM -- why don't you spend a day at a women's shelter or even better yet stay a few nights in your local county lock-up and report back to us on the comparison between your alleged "rape" by SWA/SWAPA and the real thing? Calling the outcome of the SLI a "raping" is pretty classless but par for the course in your periodic "Teal Tantrums" on this forum.
As someone who has sat next to a hospital bed holding the hand of a beloved family member subjected to a mercilessly violent sex crime, your cavalier reference appalls me.

Whack, which contract are you referring to???? The one you had when the acquisition was announced??? I'm guessing you're using the one GK gave you guys post-announcement to tide you over until you transitioned to ours. Your numbers about a pay cut don't add up ( if you use the original contract). But hey, keep spewing BS. Guess what, I'm a 8.5 yr FO whose upgrade is now projected at 18+ bc of this deal. You think I ever wanted anything to do with AirTran ??????? Guess how much of a career pay cut I'm taking??? But that doesn't seem to register with you guys. You think I'm happy SWAPA senior insiders negotiated themselves an upgrade and didn't get jack in money, stock, etc. for anyone else???? You think I'm happy the 717 went away??? I go to work, do my job, and be polite as I can be. I wont go out of my way to be a pr*ck like you apparently do. Grow up. It wasn't just guys on your side of the fence that were affected.

Classless? No I think in this case it's a fairly accurate way of describing what happened to our seniority and seats, or perhaps blackmail might be a better descriptor.

Yeah, I know exactly who you're talking about. That construction "gig" is a rather large project that will pay handsomely. The person in question hates you and every other SW pilot's guts and that has a significant effect on his decision as well. He's a hell of a good, stand-up person and much like me is unable to smile after being forced to eat a $h!t sandwich.

You know whack......that is pretty sad. Your friend doesn't know me or any of us and he hates us. Sad, real sad. I actually felt sorry for him that transitioning over would be so horrible. Maybe some of you should go to West Africa (as I did about a year ago) and see what true suffering is. NO ONE in the USA has it that bad. Pathetic whiners with no perspective on what true misery is.

I think I have a fine enough perspective on life and know how to count my blessings especially given my family's background. Again, this bull$h!t maneuver of trying to make me feel guilty about being so p!$$ed off about the SLI is completely asinine. Way to dodge the facts about what your union and company did to rape us of our seniority. It's YOU that should be shamed and feeling guilty about it, and for the record I've been to West Africa and hauled refugees out of there.
