At the time I was in a position to know the expectations of the group as a whole. To say any more would be unwise.
We're not an arrogant bunch of narcissistic, prima donna types. What's fair is fair. We didn't feel the need to capitalize off of the misfortune of others. That much I can guarantee you pal.

Yeah, because that's what is really at issue here.
Forget the fact that your union and management conspired to screw over its newest employees while SWAPA pilots danced for joy at corporate HQ. Pathetic bunch of self absorbed jerks.

If you want to make ridiculous all inclusive declarative statements then I will continue to point out your absurdity.

You're right, these are my issues.
Being forced to negotiate with Gary Kelly while my future union hides behind his skirt. Watching SWAPA actively conspire and work against my best interests..."support management"...then expect me to tow the line and get on board with its agenda. Shouldn't come as a surprise...ain't gonna happen.
The only thing AirTran pilots have learned about southwest culture is this...screw everyone else and look out for #1. That's exactly what I'll be doing as a SW pilot.
Given the chance I'll sue SWAPA at the first indication of a possible DFR. I'll call sick if my new seniority causes me a scheduling inconvenience. I'll take early medical out and go play golf 5 times a week. Pay back is a MFer.

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
My retort is short on facts? The fact is you have NO idea what every AirTran pilot thought about the possibility of a Midwest purchase, you can't. Did you personally interview each and every one of them, of course not. NO ONE was looking to capitalize on the situation. There is absolutely no way to know this and if you claim that you did know what every single AT pilot thought it will be at the very least disingenuous but more likely an outright lie.
I don't know why I'm debating with people that insist that downgrading wasn't a paycut when I have the AT Cptn checks and SW F/O checks to compare.
Keep living in denial you bunch of arrogant f____s.

You may want to stop sabotaging your future lawsuits though. If you think comments on an "anonymous" web board can't be traced back to you during litigation, you are sadly mistaken.

Again, a thoroughly ridiculous statement. Do you understand the definition of unanimous? If you truly think 1600+ pilots ALL shared you own particular vision, you are sadly mistaken. If you think you can get 1600+ people to unanimously agree on anything you are delusional. Keep up the rhetoric though because it really helps your case sound compelling.
