Just so you are aware our AIP allows Codesharing as long as it doesnt result in our airline shrinking.

So we dont have to grow either and you can forget every flying a larger A/C.

That’s what we already have in our current contract. If that’s the case you can mark me as a hard NO right now.

And it’s not about wanting to fly larger airplanes. It’s about wanting to own the growth

This is completely false. Nothing is stoping southwest from competing globally because they scope against codesharing. It only guarantees that southwest pilots will do the flying.

You’re right though Spirit doesn’t have RJs but it doesn’t mean they won’t at some point. I don’t care what kind of planes the company wants to move people on. Whether it’s widebodies, narrowboddies, RJs, or Cessnas, I want Spirit pilots flying them. Period!

Scope? Industry standard medical structure (they've already tried to **** on that once), work rules? We will have to give up something out of this AIP to get closer to AS/SW/DL/UA hourly rates and my guess is that it would wind up being cost neutral for the company.
Give up? I’m not following you, I’m not interested in giving anything up. I’m also not advocating voting one way or another, not yet. Much like I don’t choose a President to vote for based on the tie they’re wearing when they walk to the podium, I don’t decide how I’m voting on a CBA based on one-page bullet points. That would be irresponsible.

I was simply clarifying a misconception about how things have happened in the last few months, facts that appear to be getting twisted, probably based on fear.

Talks broke off 10 days ago when Spirit failed to recognize the pilots’ need for Scope, LTD,and RIG improvements, and overplayed their hand―by demanding PBS that we told them would be highly unpopular.

Our plan to get a contract is to engage in a campaign of strategic communications targeting both the financial community and the flying public designed to bring the company back to
the table.
Further, the SPSC campaign will utilize all lawful opportunities to demonstrate our unity and resolve, with informational picketing and other events planned to take place
this month and in the months to come.

English obviously not 1st language, but I no see survey to get back to table. Also quote #1 looks like nc wants to talk but NMB say NO.
Survey to get back to the table? English or not, you’ll never see one of those. It would be irresponsible of an MEC to survey a pilot group on their desire to return to mediated bargaining. We filed with the NMB to facilitate bargaining; we can’t poll to see if we want to sit home and pout.

Your first highlight bit read like an ALPA email update. “No more dates scheduled after these”. What’s out of the ordinary for that? On two occasions the mediators felt there was ample time in the slots provided to reach agreement (there was). They aren’t going to keep scheduling them out beyond reasonable; you might as well slide a note across the table to the company saying “delay as long as you like—we’ll make more”.

The second highlight was an exerpt from the SPSC, stating a strategy that really didn’t gain any footing, probably due to direction given from the MEC. Didn’t really have anything to do with mediated sessions or the misunderstood, false “icing”.

Everyone understands you can get a T/A without the NMB/Mediator right?, lol.

If you are going to vote yes or no, please do it based on fact not false assumptions that its because the NMB wont schedule more dates, lol.

The question then becomes “will GREEDY SPA MGMT meet outside of mediation?” That all depends on staffing etc

Lol, not here. This is the second contract that has required the NMB to reach a deal.

History repeats (except and per the mediator, the ability to be released).
