I’m not and I’ll have to see the language before I decide. One thing is for sure that we made some very tail gains in this AIP during the best negotiating climate most of us will ever see. Fact is that the AIP at least this far is industry lagging. I was ready to look past that to get the critical job protections for our group that we critically need while at the same time getting at least in the ballpark compensation wise.
LTD so far looks like a win but if scope scope allows any type of outsourcing the rest of the contract doesn’t matter and is worthless even if it was industry leading which it is not.
Let’s wait and see what it says but no scope no vote! If codesharing and outsourcing aren’t valuable to the company then it’s an easy give for them. If they are valuable to the company then we need them more than ever

Survey to get back to the table? English or not, you’ll never see one of those. It would be irresponsible of an MEC to survey a pilot group on their desire to return to mediated bargaining. We filed with the NMB to facilitate bargaining; we can’t poll to see if we want to sit home and pout.
Your first highlight bit read like an ALPA email update. “No more dates scheduled after these”. What’s out of the ordinary for that? On two occasions the mediators felt there was ample time in the slots provided to reach agreement (there was). They aren’t going to keep scheduling them out beyond reasonable; you might as well slide a note across the table to the company saying “delay as long as you like—we’ll make more”.
The second highlight was an exerpt from the SPSC, stating a strategy that really didn’t gain any footing, probably due to direction given from the MEC. Didn’t really have anything to do with mediated sessions or the misunderstood, false “icing”.

I think you misunderstand. You say: "Put simply, our NC needed time to poll the membership for a possible change in negotiation direction."
I post what alpa publish stating their plan to get back to table. Not talked about was poll or survey. Therefore break not due to need of poll. I will try not to post but watch from sidelines. See you when we get TA.
