They shouldn't. Zero hour in calculations should begin at the amendable date, not date of hire.

I'm pretty sure that is what the union plans on. Seat + pay rate + time since amendable is supposed to be how it's decided. The currently top paid people should not receive the most money, it should be decided by the gap in pay from the old pay rates that you made while it was amendable to the new rates and time you spent here during negotiations.

Very Short sighted.
Live w this turd for 5-7 years, while they rack in the $$$ laughing all the way to the next stock buyback.
It costs nothing to send it back.
VOTE NO!

all of our work rules? 4 days off and transition? one of which we keep. 4 days off is 4 days off last I checked regardless of the bid system. Heaven forbid you let guys wave who want to and guys who don't want to don't have too. And costs nothing ? what does opportunity cost mean to you? Hell, lets just wait this out for 12 years until pay rates are presumably $310/hr ?? i mean it costs nothing right? If we go back to the table and it takes 18 months, that could easily be 35k NOT put into the 401k. 35K compounded annually at 6% over 30 years is $201,000. Could we get more? could it be longer? nobody knows. Nobody. But to sit there and say it costs nothing is flat out dumb. Not to mention current salary for 18 more months, Lack of LTD and scope. Oh I forgot those don't cost anything either. Until they do..
We have lots of details to see in the coming weeks, but the "Terd" crowd is humorous

That would be true if we were getting retro: which we aren’t. A signing bonus/ratification incentive is carved up however this MEC allows it to be...

Look at the brightside of maybe the lackluster T/A. Now we can give DFW their own LEC!

You’ve gotta point there. But if DFW gets an LEC, I move that LAS, DTW, and ORD do as well.... Those 3 bases have more daily departures than DFW, so if DFW gets an LEC under these circumstances, so should these bases!

And, I guess if it’s a pure fracture, ACY gets its own as well....
