I’ve given up on an airplane order.
|
Yeah I see them just buying planes when they come available. That’s how they will sustain our growth. No need for a plane order. Just benefit from other airlines misfortune.

Huge upgrades scheduled
Massive hiring scheduled... And yet people fail to connect the dots and need to see the press release. |

Deliveries scheduled for the next two years and way behind on staffing. I seriously doubt upgraded and hiring now are for an aircraft order in 2021.
It seems everyone wants a 2 year upgrade, base of their choosing and line holding ability. Short of that, people complain or blame the union for “giving up” reserve drops. |

Point being incredible numbers of upgrades happening over the next year and new hires to fill in behind. If people aren’t happy about that, don’t know what else they need now.

Boeing has to make their huge press release before we make ours.

“Unless things change significantly, this is my last message about Hurricane Dorian, but you’ll be hearing more from me soon.
Thank you for all that you do. Ted“ New snack menu announcement party soon, strait from the top. |
We getting the moldy beef sticks back???

If I remember correctly, the first time we heard from Bob was when he scolded us and then sued us. I guess ol’ Teddy doesn’t have that convenient excuse this time.
|
Apparently, Teddy and Bendo were in a new hire class yesterday. They were spouting off about the 737 and how great it is.

Reminds me of when I bought a new car last year.....”you know, the dealer around the corner is offering free maintenance.” |

VNAV is the only thing I can come up with that is less work demanding for pilots, everything else requires more action |

What's so great about it? Purchase price?

The first time we heard from Bobby Two Scoops was a mere couple of weeks after he took over. “Hi, my name is Bob and I like ice cream!” Or words to that nature. Now we have Guitar Hero who goes NORDO for four gd months after he took the helm... but vomits out six emails in one week when the stock is at 52 week lows. |
I think it was hi I like pasta and ice cream.
Ole Bobby two scoops |
Word on the street is that Delta is transferring the remainder of their A321 order to us (about 100 planes) because they scored a deal with Boeing on Max 10’s. Deliveries end of next year.
Falls in line with the last interview of Christie saying we were looking at 321 NEO’s. |

Do you really think that pilot workload figures into their purchase decision making?

I don't, that's why i asked. Also mentioned, besides purchase price.
There are dozens and hundreds of facets to sweeten a large aircraft order that would facilitate a fleet change or at very least a large operational change to accommodate different types. |

Ole Bobby two scoops Now I remember. Inspiring words from our new CEO. The next time we heard from him was a painfully scripted response a month after he insulted the entire pilot group with his “low tier” insult. A month. With BOHICA by his side. Gawd that was painful to watch. And yet. So much more than what we have now... “Family.” Someone que Inigo Montoya please... |

While I will never dismiss any rumor, the 737 max 10 will not be into service until 2022 I think, and that’s if Boeing can get their crap together on the max 8. We have 100 neos to begin delivery next year. They were supposed to start in March , they have been delayed for what they are calling parts issues. But if this rumor were true, we would not be getting at least 50 planes we were supposed to get by 2022.

Not sure if the Max 10 is actually in play or not. Just assumed it would be since it’s nearest in size to the 321. Could be Max 9’s

Ok what is your source then, because on this thread and our delta thread you posted saying it was for the max 10, now you are saying well I don’t know maybe it’s for the max 9

You sir are correct! Spirit is finalizing a deal with Delta to acquire 100 321 NEO aircraft with options for an additional 100. Delta placed this order in 2017 and deliveries start January 2020. Delta is currently working on a deal with Boeing to acquire a large number of MAX jets (quantity and airframe are still unknown) in an attempt to grow and gain control of KSEA while helping Americas largest aircraft manufacturer get back on their feet. There has been great efforts on all parties involved to get this deal done in a timely manner but due to the complexity of a transaction of this magnitude it is taking longer than anticipated. Please be patient

Word at DL (along with the delay of the 321NEO) is that we’ll be exercising an additional 100 options. So, literally the opposite of your wishful post. |
