Doesn’t bother me at all, to not be forced to take a vaccine with minimal testing, that was pushed out in record time. They will have to force me to take it.

Years and years of drinking airplane coffee have likely inoculated me against most pathogens...
That said, I got vaccinated.

 

Maybe if they made the vaccine smell like dirty socks more pilots would be willing to accept the risk.

 

People are tripping over themselves to take experimental gene therapy for a virus that is 99% survivable. The vaccine doesn’t even prevent you from catching or spreading covid, just lessens the symptoms akin to simply taking vitamin D. What’s the point?

 

How about we just let Public Health experts and Epidemiologists weigh in on the need for a vaccine.

The above poster is correct. The drugs were developed for symptom mitigation. They will help create antibodies which will help combat then virus and make you more resistant, but they do not create any kind of verifiable lasting immunity or stop transmission. You basically become an asymptomatic carrier.

And before some snarky reply is given I live with a public health expert. That’s her considered opinion after seeing the government submissions and test results from the manufacturers.

She’s in no hurry to get vaccinated even though she has a place at the front of the line if she wants it.

If you have underlying health concerns or just feel the need then have at it. I completely understand. If you need it tout “trusting the experts” or some science that you’ve read about then go ahead and tell me about how standardized and laid back you are too so we can get the BS out of the way at the outset.

 

I think the bigger issue is mutation. The more people we can get vaccines, the less inter species transfer there is, therefore less chance for mutation.

Not everything is a conspiracy theory. I for one will choose to believe the WORLDS leading scientists that have spent their entire lives studying this very topic. You can choose to believe your live in specialist, but I hardly believe they are more informed than the rest of the professionals.

 

You should probably call up the CDC, FDA and the pharma companies with this crucial new information.
