Spirit management has a big decision to make; halt growth for the time being or continue with aircraft deliveries and hope this virus scare is limited to just screwing up the summer air travel season.

They have already cut capacity for April they’ve pretty much already made their choice. I doubt we will be seeing many more classes going forward.

If oil stays as cheap as it is, will probably offset some of the reduced demand. Also since this whole virus scare to turn around pretty quickly you’ve gotta still be in a spot to capitalize when demand returns, which it will. People will only put up with putting their lives on hold so long for a mild virus.

Corporate. 4000 hrs and 1500 TPIC when I got hired.

Maybe the reduction will result in adequate staffing for the summer that helps prevent the annual meltdown and actually lets training classes continue.

(Wishful thinking because I'd love a July/August class date)

The fact you know Spirit has its annual meltdown shows you’ve done the research on Spirit.

Meltdowns mean money I hope they don’t stop forever

for us spring break and summer are the travel season. We don’t make it up in the fall with business travel

You guys have seen the email right? Ted claims we will only grow April at 9% so clearly Management isn't that worried.
