Don’t get butt hurt; if you choose to live in a hurricane area, don’t be surprised if a hurricane comes through, which I’m pretty sure is what he was referring to. Most people don’t want to live in an area that can get wiped out by a storm, Florida ain’t that desirable for many for that and other reasons

Never said we didn't have crappy bases...we do. But what we don't have is bases in exhorbant COL areas (SFO/LAX/DCA/NYC).
MIA/FLL is getting there but still isn't on the level of those areas in terms of COL. Rents have doubled in Brickell and people from NY and CA are still moving in and talking about what a great deal it is.

Still rather live here than some place like NYC, ORD or DTW. At least I can walk around my neighborhood without getting robbed.

Butthurt? That area hasn’t had a hit like that in around 50 years. So it’s not like it’s a regular occurrence. And even so it’s ****ty to joke about peoples misfortunes regardless. But I guess you and him are the cool kids of the forum and seem to have each other’s backs. You do seem to jump to his defense often.

We choose to live where we want for our own reasons. You people who think we should like what you like or somehow think we all want to live where you live, but somehow can't for some reason??? That I don't get. There's a big world out there outside of Florida. Florida happens to be one of the least appealing places in the country to me, but I don't make the mistake of thinking everyone else thinks the same way I do.
