Y’all kill me. Lol. Pilots are experts at everything, apparently M&A now too.
side note, as unAmerican as it may sound. Your votes mean nothing. This won’t be decided by individual stock holders, but if it makes ya feel better.
my suggestion. Go spend time with your kids, your wife, your girlfriend or both (maybe that will turn out really well for you!!!)
Think I’ll come back on the 11th for more entertainment.

Anybody know what the difference is between voting on the blue vs white card? TC doesn’t want us voting with “blue” but the questions are essentially the same.

If you make no specification on your proxy card as to how you want your shares voted before signing and returning it, your proxy will be voted “FOR” the merger proposal, “FOR” the compensation proposal, and “FOR” the adjournment proposal.

Your last statement in your first post is the real reason you and most of your NK buddies who are against the deal with B6 are in fact against it. The SLI. Let's stop being disingenuous. Everyone knows the B6 offer is much better. But people try and play games to justify the F9 deal because of how their personal situation ends up. I get it. I'd be doing the same thing. But to pretend the F9 deal is better, or has greater upside is laughable. Just say it: "I don't want to merge with B6 because my relative seniority will most likely take a hit and potentially my QOL along with it." I respect that position.

Sure.
spirit stock is at $20.
Even if you had 1000 shares at $80, you could DCA down below 30 and there you go, you made money. not a lot, but you made money.
The point is, one is an actually good product, the other is not. and we all know what NK/F9 will be like as a passenger.

I'm not making bad investment arguments to justify it, to hide my real concerns.
But I'm a lot less afraid of F9+NK than you think... The real reason F9+NK want to merge is because there are only so many routes that support daily ULCC service, and NK and F9 have already saturated most of them. That's why there is significantly more F9 overlap with NK vs JB and NK. The two ULCCs are already cannibalizing each other's routes that support daily ULCC service. That's also why ULCC frequency is so low on most routes. That's part of the reason Spirit had to put out financial performance projections using zero labor cost for the next five YEARS to make the merger look attractive.
So go ahead and merge... After the way Spirit management and board have conducted themselves, I'd rather not see them win, but also don't give that many Fs about it.
