Shrinks. If your JR. why would you stagnate during an SLI when everyone else is hiring/upgrading for retirements?
Plus if you’re looking for Florida bases and quick upgrades that’s probably a pipe dream at this point.

Thats a theory, but do you know the actual number as of today at either carrier?

Thanks. If we can get an accurate Spirit number too (not APC out dated stuff) that’d be great.

Thanks. 7668 total pilots. It’ll be interesting to come back to this thread in maybe 5 years to see how things shake out.

And dropping every day. 3087 as of today, based on FLICA. But hey, we’re getting 17 planes from now till the end of the year. We can’t make money and attrition isn’t a problem!! Go Teddy!! Something about only flying 80% of your schedule and having new planes sit because you can’t staff. But that’s ATC’s problem now, evidently.

Like actual attrition numbers at each carrier? No. But Robin Hayes just said he’s hiring more than necessary because everyone is leaving, and the Spirit attrition forum seems to agree there’s an attrition problem. An SLI is going to be ugly. Why bother if your JR?

No not interested in attrition numbers. Just totals that I already got above.
