We haven’t even the seen an ounce of details and the infighting is priceless ! The Next month is gonna be fun to watch the bickering on here! Popcorn ready.

Yeah...so one of those posters throwing grenades doesn't even work here, and another is still in training with a wet ATP from republic and has never flown a single day of 121 on the line.

Hopefully cooler heads will prevail amongst those of us who actually work here and are eligible to vote.

You don't get it. Pilots pay goes to top, guess what FAs want top pay, rampers, mechanics, etc. Overall labor bill is HUGE for any airline. I'm not not just talking about pilot pay. Total labor. Your business models thrives on lower costs which pretty much equals lower wages all around.

Nice try Bendo

If the numbers are true that I just heard from a pretty reliable source, Spirit’s costs will rise, and the same amount of pilots will be walking out the door.

This is premature. There is a well defined process for how this all works, and if the AIP is determined to not meet expectations then the NC will be sent back with updated parameters to negotiate to. Let’s not campaign to throw anyone under the bus with no information about what was on the table.

I am intimately aware of how this process works from inside the ring and stand by my thought. If the NC brings an agreement to the MEC that doesn't pass their approval, then the NC either didn't know what the parameters were to start with or the MEC moved the goal line and didn't tell them.

Yeah I’m sure you’re right, either of those scenarios are likely what happened. It’s the intimacy that’s so convincing.
