LOL. I have heard he failed the 320 ride 2x and the FAA almost went ch11 typing him. Karma is a *****, isn't it?

We Captains need to take charge and shut him down in the name of safety. Let him ask all he want's on the ground, but keep in flight questions to the minimum.

PO in class today:

-2 airplanes in March. One to be used as spare.
1 airplane in April
1 airplane in May
1 airplane in the Fall
-Capt upgrades first of the year.
-MA still here yet will be leaving. Still looking at replacement.
-5 dequals. Most recent 2 dequals this past weekend. (CAT Dual to Single downgrade - did not rereference QRM, the other ?)
-International lines (9 this month) are FLL crew only; experienced crew.
-AXM starts Fri. Columbia is good. PO meets president.

Thanks for the informative update Yaw!! Hope you are enjoying class. We will all be interested to hear what the training is like/different from what we used to see.

That makes 5 airplanes this year. Is that new number the result of them getting an additional for a spare, or will we see only 4 with one used as a spare?

Also, when did the 6 furloughs get recalled for the december class (how long before class?)

Thanks for the update. There's a rumor on Spiritboard going around talking about both A321s being returned. Has anyone down in Miramar or anywhere else heard this??? I noticed PO just said new airplanes...no recalls. Can anyone shed light on this?

6 recalls now in class. OI end of NOV. All to ACY base by DEC01.

Rumor, as always in this business, letters may go out in JAN or FEB for another recall to have pilots back by MAR01 in trng or on line (?).

The number is unknown, my guess, 12!!, then more after MAR, just to keep up with AC arrivals.

I am sure they'll need more crew members once the GOV comes out with new rest and rig rules, but only GOD knows how long will they stretch that to justify there jobs , after all they are lawmakers, as we know it takes time.

I really hope to see everyone back ASAP, nothing like the feeling of getting your job back!!!
