Yeah thats exactly what happened last time, until everyone found out that the system bid was gong to be run BEFORE the furloughed guys got back, and that everyone returning would have to go to ACY, regardless of seniority. I get the feeling the same might happen this time. I know there are quite a few guys in ACY right now that want out.

So the returning pilots who could hold FLL will get to spend their time in the friendly city of ACY all the way until March. I have heard winter is a blast there.

The summer is no better...take it from someone who's been stuck there for the past 5 months even though I could hold FLL or DTW. Look at the bright side (if there is one), hotel rates are much more affordable during the winter months. You should be able to get a room on the White Horse Pike for under $35/night out the door on any given night. As you shower in the lukewarm, iron and sulfur saturated water or lay in the stained sheets and breathe in the aromas of smoke and mildew, just think of the sucker that paid $250/night for that pleasure to stay in that same room on Memorial or Labor Day weekend.

I'm with you Normann, I am working now, but I know how it feels. Keep you chin up, it will pass. You'll be back to the salt mine, hopefully soon.
Cheers.
Cheers.
