Yes, those guys are doing the Lord's work by making sure the northbound departures leave on-time, every time!

If you haven't read the latest ALPA magazine yet, and are looking for news about Spirit in it, I'll save you the time,
"Spirit--A Section 6 notice was filed on April 28, 2015. Negotiations are under way." That's it. Same amount of news on Spirit and its pilots as last month. Exactly the same.

Is there enough gate space in ATL for Spirit to expand in a big way?

Why ATL? Why not MEM, STL, PIT or some other under served airport?

Talked to bendo and he said they are gearing up to launch our SuperHub in Phoenix this fall.

Lets hope its all true (I am hearing we may "give up" the 29 in 7" block language). I know a lot of guys wanted this anyway and if its the case, I applaud our N/C negotiating something for it rather than just give it away so guys here can just pick up and have off 8 days a month, lol
you ain't seeing a contract ANY time soon brother and or sister...Legitimate sources? Are you JUST giving us THE TIP????

29/7 is probably 90% of my transition conflicts. How many less pilots do they have to hire and upgrade if they get a major productivity increase like 29/7? The guys that dislike it because it prevents them from picking up every now and then have no idea the protection they are getting from it.

Those airports would suck as a crew base, everyone based there would have to commute somewhere else to start their trips since we don't serve any of those cities.

Well, in my case the big guys weren't hiring. When they started, I didn't want to start over. Why are you here? </impotent rage>

We operate a "Hub" (really just a base) out of Chicago, while utilizing only 2.5 gates. We could pretty much put a base anywhere. Doesn't mean it works well, but we could do it. We really don't run a Hub-and-Spoke type operation quite yet. Very few connections across the system, but growing.
