Is there a no-rehire policy for NK?
That one comment was a little tongue in cheek from Shiftwork (I know him).

As far as I know, there isn't any policy against re-hiring. My PRIA records showed "eligible for rehire".

I debated for a bit, and now trying to get people I know there, get in a letter of recommendation. On my initial "application", I had the box asking if I had letters "NO". I tried going back to check it "YES", but it says I already applied. NO kiddin, but I want to update it!. (Anyone know how?). So I might be towards the bottom. Hopefully as I get them, I can move up.
Heard they bumped it to 20/ month now...

You just need your resume in the hand of the CP or Assist CP to get around that stupid "already applied" box. If you have a good friend here still, have them walk it straight into the assist CP.

I mean it is not that I see this Ireland route happen but the latest rumor from the interviews is that some A320 orders may be converted to A321neo if the numbers on fuel savings are really that good. But even that would need a fuel stop I think.

Spirit operates a high density model, no?

What's the range of a heavily loaded 319 (let alone a 321!) off a 6,600 ft runway (Kerry) or a 7,000 ft runway (Cork) flying west?

A stop in Bangor or Gander is almost certain to be needed, not to mention some ETOPS.

There's a reason 757's do these routes, not Airbus NB's - performance.

We will not do any of that flying. The whole thing is not what we are after right now anyhow. But it was interesting enough so I linked it. More A321s are rumored though but they will be used for places where we are restricted by gates/slots like LGA.

In order to get a 321neo I think we would have to push back some delivery dates. I don't believe the neo's are available until after 2015, though I could be completely wrong. Anyone...??
