I think NK got aproval back in 06-07, but "EL Chavista", will not allow us to go in. We are to cheap for the wealthy "Chavistas".

Really, if I thought you all would ever be happy with me in a leadership role, I'd be trying to please you. But, I perceive your opposition to be purely political, I don't think your ever going to be willing to work with me, so it's pointless to try and please you.
I ran a positive campaign for capt rep in FLL and lost 51% to 49%. I give credit to the team who negotiated the current contract even though I don't like trip averaging. I didn't take a training dept position when I was in the position to use my union influence and get one. I don't wear a 26% lanyard and I have flown fewer than 5 200% trips I five years. I have an open offer to chair numerous non-political ALPA Committees and have been passed over, even for positions with long standing vacancies.
If none of that pleases any of you, I doubt that I ever will. I can only conclude that you don't desire anything but silence out of anyone who isn't part of your clan or who disagrees with your political ideology. Tell me again why I should be concerned about your anonymous Internet requests?

Sky, I think more or less we want to see a little more positive view and forward thinking, instead of what "could have been type of mind".
You got my vote if all you want is a better future for you and fellow pilots, with out giving up ANY of the current provisions, including 4 days and normal bidding. ( I can see it coming the 150 that we gave up).
Unlike MANY other outfits, we are in a great position to only grow. I hope we, NK, take full advantage of it.
I don't know Jack about anything, all I have is what the MEC says, the Ra email and the rumors. I can only go by the first two. It's the way it works, you know that.
So organizing ourselves against each other, fueled by some personal problems that some guys have will not help the next time around.
So, ...+1 on the:
Merger committee.
Qtrly or Biannual expense report from our ALPA
Good solid MIXED team for next negotiations.
More teleconference meetings with ALPA and us.
ETC.
and ..... -1 on the:
Anti everything attitude from this or the other forum.
Insulting each other.
hating each other only because of a difference of opinions.
F.. this and F.. that with out having any kind of facts, only going by what someone said.
I totally understand why 80% of our pilots don't even show up here or the other board. we are always the same clowns.

My problem is that you are often not factual and at random moments you get off topic. Like right now you just did. Other times you just simply forget about the conversation. Ohhh well...
Just like most threads on the spirit board. That is one reason why most of us wont post there. Sparse on good info, but rich on character assassinations and other mud throwing. That is really disgusting. I can't believe you are promoting it here. We all know the place.
But back to the facts. Comments like 90h lines is not helping. Why reason using years old data? This is a thread for possible new hires as well. Why misinform them?
Now that you are in, have the gang turn on the alpa board. Than we would not need to have the laundry out here in the public. Anytime I fly with them I ask them to turn it on.

I have private messages going back to 2007. Nothing there from you. Send me another.
Years old data? 90 hour lines are in the current contract. Overtime for straight pay is current contract. Open time awarded out of seniority is current contract. Red eye seven AM arrivals followed by five AM departures are current practice. Four day trips for 18 hours pay is current contract. Hardly years old data. .....and all data that newhires might want to know.
You say "But back to the facts", followed by your ..........opinion. Seriously, why do you get opinions and I do not? If you don't like my opinions/facts/logic why not counter them with facts or logic of your own? The quickest way to shut me up would be to prove me wrong.
I offered to discuss things on the spirit board because some of you expressed a desire to take our internal issues off of a public board. If you have a preferred private board, send me an invite.
