I don't think the August bid is published yet. My money is on seeing that closing date change once a bid is formally published. My money is also on there being at least 2 revisions

Default resume symb

Probably a long shot but I was curious if anyone here knows what the symbol means that was marked on top of the resumes? From the job fair.

My rep circled a bunch of stuff on mine, like flight time, previous airlines, 4 yr degree and college and other skills, also made some notes, like checkride failures, base, etc.

Didn't notice a symbol or anything, but that might be a good thing. Also wasn't able to catch if they had different stacks for resumes.

I think it might be a while before we hear anything, I remeber them saying they are still calling folks from the LAS job fair.

I was going to ask the same thing. Yes there was a lot of note taking and circling items on the resume. But just before he asked me if I had any questions for him he drew a triangle on the upper right hand corner. I went earlier than most of my friends so I told them to be on the lookout for what was drawn on theirs. Most got the triangle, some got triangle and a circle....I'm really curious to know what it means!

I talked to Ms. Sandi & was unable to read notes wrote on my resume. She bent the top up so I was unable to see, maybe it was a big "NO" who knows...

From what I hear, they want guys/gals living in Vegas or close by to staff properly the base. We have had some issues with coverage in this base.

I noticed that too as I live in a Spirit base and it was written on mine yesterday.

When I asked what was my preferred base, my response was anywhere to get my foot in the door with Dallas being the preferred. My husband has family & friends in the Dallas area & his dad lives in San Antonio.

This is interesting because we haven't had many Vegas vacancies lately. In fact, we just had another vacancy post the other day that was for ORD only.

I could be wrong but my understanding is management wants to improve coverage out of Vegas. It was briefly mentioned on the conference call. We have too many commuters based in Vegas. Actually, a bunch of them left for ORD.
