Listening to the webcast now. Sounds very positive going forward.

Hiring to continue, growth increasing passing 2015.

Four more aircraft this year, 11 next year financed vs. leased. (Ben says "at least 11 next year")

On hand cash to drive growth (a lot of cash!).

Low-cost marketing to continue (we won't sponsor sports teams, tv commercials, putting Spirit's names on arenas, etc.)

Virgin moving to Love Field won't affect Spirit at all.

Spirit to possibly take on debt to purchase aircraft vs. lease.

Infrastructure sufficient for growth, scalable to a growing airline.

Load factor around 87%, flying 13 hours a day!

No Venezuela flying any time soon (would be a big market out of FLL).

Only 4 more aircraft this year? Still showing aprox 9 more with 7 alone in Q4?

I think Lobeaux confused total deliveries with the number of debt based financing they are planning going forward. According to the call, 4 A/C this year, and 11 next year will be purchased vs. leased. Of course I could be wrong, but that's what I understood it to be.

Also, the Q1 earnings report mentions at least 1 A/C delivery accelerated into the 2015 delivery schedule from 2016, and 2 deferred from 2017 into 2018.

No, no, I mean yes, my commentary should've included debt v. financing. As I understand it, 4 of those this year will be financed, at least 11 next year. I went back and read what I posted, I'll try and edit.

Nothing on Miami that I heard from the call, admittedly I got up to grab a Gogurt though. Only rumors about Miami.

Is this financing a negotiating tactic to say "we can't pay pilots any more and we need you to give back so we can pay off these new birds"?

or

Are we getting a better rate financing than we are leasing? Thus increasing next years net earnings.
