Anyone remember if anyone on the earnings call mentioned Delta re-introduction of their "Basic fare" and how they are basically having it for pretty much every route that overlaps ours in and out of Atlanta, lol

Feb 1.
It's only a few seats but they are available on pretty much everything Spirt does out of Atlanta. Either way, I'm still pretty sure our costs & tickets are lower than big Daddy Deltas, at least I hope, lol

I checked out 4 or 5 random dates with random locations on Orbitz for Delta and Spirit. 1 was within $80 RT and the rest were all half the cost of Delta.

Do not know if it has been mentioned already.
We used to be the only jet MCO-FLL.
AA is flooding that market with several MCO-MIA ?
I see more JB in Central America.
Hope to see us focusing more on the Western market.
Rockies to Pacific region has many routes in which we could successfully compete.
Any rumors on that?

From the LAX air return a few nights ago the quote from our spokesman is a bit...well decide for yourself. While I'm sure the general public won't think twice about it, I would like to see our spokesman be able to articulate why an overweight landing is probably not justified in this case better than "too difficult".
"The flight may not have been able to immediately land after the bird strike because the pilot did not declare an emergency, Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry said, so the flight was placed in a holding pattern, or because landing with full fuel tanks was considered too difficult."
