Not to take away from SAVE's success but Cramer is a joke. He's gotten many things wrong in the past. SAVE started at $12 and is now $76. VA just started at $23 and at end of trading day is at $30. What is more likely to double? Both airlines are growing in the next 8 years but which stock is likely: $30 to $60 or $76 to $152?

Anyway, I purchased the company option of 10,000 dollars worth with a price of $23 per share and put the sell order at close of $30. That's $3,000 positive in one day done. Cramer's advice? He's like the Rush Limbaugh of finance.

I'm the same way. I wouldn't push what I like here on anyone else.
I'm confident we'll have schedules that fit everyone wants come negotiation time.

Well, anything can change....but with Spirit posting 21% margins and VA posting margins of 12% And with Spirit posting a CASM of 5.92 cents vs VA 10.98 cents (with the same RASM)....I wouldnt be so quick to assume anything.

Looking at a stock and saying "one only has to add $30 to double and the other needs $76, so the $30 must be easier, isnt accurate."

Yeah, I would be wary of Cramer, but I'm also wary of VA and their stock. IPO's tend to be very favorable to those with inside purchase options, not so favorable for the average retail investor. If you have the ability to get of VA stock now ShyGuy, which isn't always possible with inside purchases, I'd do it. Airlines are extremely volatile. I purchased $SAVE at $17, sold at $23 and repurchased on the dip just a few weeks ago. My only reason for holding is because I work for the company, but it's not like I have a lot invested in the stock, just shy of $1K on my purchase.
I used to be big on individual stocks, but now the market is hugely slanted away from retail investors, which we all are. Go for index shares, much, much better IMHO.

I want a 4day worth 26hrs. If it only has 10hrs of flying all the better. I assume you're ex mil from some of your posts but for most of us this is our first career not a retirement gig and we're not getting a second check of govt cheddar every month. Not meant as a dig just a point of view. I certainly appreciate your service but I come here to make the most amount of money in the least amout of time. I don't want to do 5 legs any more than you but I don't want to do one leg days and get a 72hr line with 13 days off either because of it.

Anyone know where you can find a copy of the pay codes that are on your refrigerator list? Bidding the transition conflict and I have a TXR. In previous bids with conflicts I've had a TXC. Not sure of the difference.
