I know I know. I'd be Gaurenteed to get a killer transition conflict but you're right, probably not a good idea.

I know what's going to happen. I'll have it off and it will be +10 on Christmas day, gaurenteed

That's what happened to me with thanksgiving but I don't regret it. Too risky for my blood.

I love the moral delima created with the transition conflict. Sacrifice your whole month including Christmas Day to get it. It's like a devil on my shoulder every month

You don't have to negotiate it. It's already 13. Nothing stopping them from giving everyone 13

Congrats to Ryan and James on their elections to 77 reps.

I did not say that, and certainly hope not.

If the NC negotiates 150% back without concessions, well done, as long as crew planning does not reduce to min days off.
150% might create an incentive to reduce days off.
I was not here when we had 150%, but I have been involved in negotiations, so I tend to be overly cautious...
The pilot group vote is the final say.

I welcome the return of 150%, but not at the cost of losing days off.

Absolutely right. Compare the eagerness of the scheduling department to give premium pay now compared to a year ago. It's already happening, our lines average 75 hours because of financial strategy. Minimizing cost is their game. If it means reducing ability to pick up time because of the way lines are built they will do whatever it takes. Dog the new guys all you want but understand the new guys also understand how penny pinching can cut into quality of life because they've seen it happen first hand. Just because it didn't affect the days off prior to the 150% concession doesn't mean it won't down the road. The bigger we get the more incentive it is to cut costs, you can't give the benefit of doubt and pretend it will never happen. The leash on soft pay has already started, stay ahead of the game.

So out of 255 votes, only 165 voted. Shows interest.

I wasn't as impressed by the turn out. 64.7% of eligible voters is kinda low imho...
