What else are they going to say at the job fair, "Come to Spirit, and enjoy lower FO pay from Day 1"

From the new hires I talk to yes, still being told 2.5 years. I'm thinking more like 3.0 for guys like me and 3.5-4, maybe longer for the class that starts Monday.

But I plan on 3 for me, not a big deal, but hope those trying to get on now realize it may be the 2021 deliveries before they see an upgrade.

I hope it happens for them at 2.5 years. We may see additional orders in the interim that could help the cause. Maybe some junior captain or FO attrition as well? Who knows? I came here hoping for a 5 year upgrade but that was before all the orders were announced.

RR implied 2.5 years during the March '14 job fair in FLL. When I interviewed in July we were told the same. When I did the math on earning potential prior to deciding to come to Spirit I used 4 years just because I assumed they were all stretching the truth (and why wouldn't they in order to attract talent). However, while in training I met a bunch of CUG's that were 2.3-2.5 on property. So, at least there was some truth to managements claims for some of us. 4-5 works for me but 2.5 would be better.
ps Love this place so far! Can't wait to get off first year pay though. I can hear a loud sucking sound out of my savings account every time I drive by my bank.
