I was hired by Spirit back in November. I prolonged starting in hope that a new contract or better salary would be offered. Finally had to turn them down. 38/hour is sad. I am at a regional and am right about 2.5 times that getting PIC.
I have NO idea how anyone in their right mind is going there.

Joser made a smart decision. Working for nearly 1/2 what our peers make with management dragging its feet on the contract, terrible mostly not commutable lines, and the fear/hope of being bought or merging does not make for a great place to work. Unless this is your only option (DUI, failed checkrides etc) at this time I would look for greener pastures.

Can you give me an example of some things I can do to get some time off? I do an awful lot "not much of anything" and they won't give me month off.
