Im college educated. I've thought about that and my answer to that if i get asked would be. It would depend on where I was in my training. I hadn't started at all I would go but if i had finished IOE and was out on the line, No. I would be putting my future in risk. I would not risk what I had just earned in pursuit of a larger but less shiny jet. I fully intend to make coming to Spirit more than a 5 month experience I want my next job to be 10 plus years so that I can enjoy the quality of life

I can see how they would think that. But UPS is hiring 40 and FedEx is under 100. If they want to keep the place going they need to get bodies in the door even if they know they're going to leave in two years. I dont know if it was spirit or atlas that was selling its investors on the high turnover rate as a way of keep crew costs down, lowering the cost per seat mile.

And I might be qualified but I'm still about 1000 hours off from competitive.

737 type or FE written can be a red flag....
Not a deal breaker but a flag for the same reasons listed above.

Not sure where you're getting those numbers. FedEx is hiring over 400 this year. 49 in class this month alone. Not sure about UPS.

Then that's at least 45/month until the end of April and then 37/month for the remainder of the year (FedEx).
